Arctotis Bonfire is a variety of the commonly known, African Daisy, and is grown for its striking, daisy-like flowers. This variety features large, pumpkin orange flowers from winter through summer. The foliage is grey-green and provides a lovely backdrop to the flowers and typically grows to 40 cm tall and 1 m wide with a spreading growth habit. Best performance with this plant is achieved when it is grown in full sun on a well-drained site. It is tolerant of dry periods, coastal conditions, frost, and cool climates. Arctotis Bonfire is commonly used as a groundcover, included in coastal and cottage gardens, planted alongside paths, included in border plantings, or used to brightening up a dull corner of the garden.
