Alstroemeria 'Summer Breeze'

How to grow Alstroemeria 'Summer Breeze' in NZ

Alstroemeria 'Summer Breeze' grows best in full sun or partial shade with fertile, well drained soil enriched with organic matter. Keep the soil evenly moist while plants establish, then water during prolonged dry periods. Apply a balanced slow release fertiliser in spring to encourage vigorous growth and prolific flowering. Mulch around the plants to retain moisture and keep the roots cool.

Alstroemeria 'Summer Breeze' care tips

Alstroemeria 'Summer Breeze' is easy to maintain. Remove spent flowering stems by gently pulling them from the base rather than cutting them to encourage fresh shoots and continuous flowering. Divide mature clumps every few years if they become crowded, and protect emerging shoots from slugs and snails.
