Alstroemeria 'Orange Glory'

How to grow Alstroemeria 'Orange Glory' in NZ

Alstroemeria 'Orange Glory' grows best in full sun or partial shade with fertile, well drained soil enriched with organic matter. Keep the soil evenly moist while plants establish, then water during prolonged dry periods. Apply a balanced slow release fertiliser in spring to promote vigorous growth and prolific flowering. Mulch around the plants to conserve moisture and keep the roots cool.

Alstroemeria 'Orange Glory' care tips

Alstroemeria 'Orange Glory' is easy to maintain. Remove spent flowering stems by gently pulling them from the base rather than cutting them to encourage fresh shoots and repeat flowering. Divide mature clumps every few years if they become crowded, and protect emerging shoots from slugs and snails.
