Alstroemeria 'Deep Rose'

How to grow Alstroemeria 'Deep Rose' in NZ

Alstroemeria 'Deep Rose' grows best in a sunny position or light shade with fertile, well drained soil. Adding compost before planting will improve soil structure and encourage strong root development. Water regularly during establishment and throughout dry periods to maintain healthy growth and flowering. Mulching around the base will help retain moisture and suppress weeds. Regular watering and good soil fertility promote vigorous growth and continuous flower production.

Alstroemeria 'Deep Rose' care tips

Alstroemeria 'Deep Rose' is easy to care for once established. Apply a balanced fertiliser during spring and summer to encourage abundant flowering. Remove spent flower stems by pulling them from the base rather than cutting them, which helps stimulate new growth and blooms. Water during extended dry periods and keep plants free from competing weeds. Dividing mature clumps every few years can help maintain vigour and flowering performance.
