Alocasia Zebrina
Alocasia Zebrina is an herbaceous perennial is grown for its impressive, arrow shaped foliage and striped stems. The leaves are dark green and are held on green stems that are striped with purple-black. It typically grows to 1 m tall and 60 cm wide, performing best on a well-drained, frost free, sheltered site in full sun or partial shade. It may die back in winter but will regrow again in the spring. It is commonly used in mixed plantings, maintained in a container, or added to tropical plantings. A mass planting will produce an outstanding display. Zebrina also makes for an amazing indoor plant if you have the room!
