“Little Adder” is a variety of Agastache and is grown for its pretty flowers. This herbaceous perennial produces showy spikes of lavender-blue flowers held as a cluster from summer through autumn. These showy flowers are great for attracting butterflies and are held above the aromatic, bright green leaves. It typically grows to 40 cm tall and 50 cm wide, performing best when grown in full sun on a well-drained, sheltered site. It is tolerant of dry periods once established and mild frost. “Little Adder” is commonly added to cottage gardens, borders, or planted anywhere the long and showy flowering can be appreciated.
