Agapanthus Headbourne Hybrids produce trumpet shaped flowers that are light blue with a dark stripe through summer. The showy clusters are borne on solid stems above the foliage and contrast nicely with the strap like, dark green foliage. It grows as a clump to about 70 cm tall and the same wide, growing best in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained site. Agapanthus are hardy plants and will grow well on heavier soils. They are also tolerant of cool climates, coastal climates, and dry periods.
