It grows best when planted in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained site and is tolerant of cool climates, moderate frost, dry periods, a wide range of soil conditions except extreme wet or dry, and some wind. Agapanthus Finn is a versatile plant that can be used as a low maintenance option on drier sites or in situations with poor soil conditions such as a clay bank. It is also ideal for including in borders or mixed plantings, mass planting as a groundcover, adding to a cottage garden, or simply grown in a container. The most stunning displays with this plant are achieved when it is mass planted.
