Agapanthus Buccaneer Details

Agapanthus Buccaneer produces trumpet shaped, white and purple flowers through summer. The clusters are borne on solid stems above the foliage and contrast nicely with the strap like, dark green foliage. It grows as a clump to about 60 cm tall and 80 cm wide, growing best in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained site. It is tolerant of cool climates, moderate frost, dry periods, some wind, and a wide range of soil conditions except extreme wet or dry. Agapanthus Buccaneer is commonly used in borders and mixed plantings, mass planted either as a groundcover or on a bank, used in cottage gardens, or simply maintained in a container. The most stunning displays with this plant are achieved when it is mass planted.
