Agapanthus Blue Heaven Details

Agapanthus Blue Heaven produces a bounty of stunning, trumpet shaped, blue flowers through summer. Each flower is light blue with a dark blue stripe and emerges from a dark blue bud. The clusters are borne on solid stems above the foliage and contrast nicely with the strap like, dark green foliage. It grows as a clump to about 60 cm tall and the same wide, growing best in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained site. It is a hardy plant that will grow well on heavier soils and is also tolerant of cool climates, coastal climates, and dry periods. Agapanthus Blue Heaven is commonly included in border plantings, in mixed plantings, planted around the barbecue area, in cottage gardens, for cut flowers, or grown in a container. A mass planting looks spectacular.
