Agapanthus Black Buddhist produces a bounty of stunning, trumpet shaped, blue flowers through summer. Each flower is light blue with a dark blue stripe and is borne from a dark blue bud. The clusters are borne on solid stems above the foliage and contrast nicely with the strap like, dark green foliage. It grows as a clump to about 60 cm tall and the same wide, growing best in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained site. It is tolerant of cool climates, moderate frost, dry periods, some wind, and a wide range of soil conditions except extreme wet or dry.
