Agapanthus Alba Rosea Details

Agapanthus Alba Rosea, commonly known as African Lily, is a compact, evergreen, clump-forming plant that produces beautiful, white flowers with pink tints through summer. The flowers are borne on solid stems above the foliage and contrast nicely with the strap like, dark green foliage. It typically grows to 70 cm tall and 50 cm wide, growing best in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained site. Agapanthus are hardy plants and will grow well on heavier soils, and are also tolerant of cool climates, coastal climates, and dry periods. Agapanthus Alba Rosea is commonly included in border plantings, in mixed plantings, planted around the barbecue area, in cottage gardens, for cut flowers, or grown in a container. A mass planting on a bank or the like looks spectacular and is the best way to showcase this variety.
