Ravenea glauca, commonly known as the Mini Majestic Palm, is favoured by landscape designers. It features bright green and symmetrical fronds that are borne as a crown. New fronds have a distinctive blue undertone. It typically grows to 7 m tall and 3 m wide, performing best when planted in full sun on a well-drained site. It will tolerate moderate frost once established as well as extended dry periods but does not cope with heavy, wet soils. Ravenea glauca is commonly included in a tropical garden, used in an avenue planting, grown as a specimen, planted around pool areas, or added to a mixed planting.
