Lomandra ‘Little Con’ is an ornamental grass grown for both its attractive foliage and form. It grows as a compact, rounded ball of green-yellow foliage to about 30 cm tall and the same wide. It bears small, cream-coloured flowers in spring amidst the foliage. Best performance with this plant is achieved when it is positioned in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained site. It is tolerant of frost, dry periods, and will grow across a range of soil types, except extreme wet. Lomandra ‘Little Con’ is commonly used as a groundcover, included in borders, grown around the base of larger plants, used for its architectural form, added to rock gardens, or grown in a container. A mass planting is the best way to showcase this plant.
