Liriope muscari ‘Emerald Cascade’ is grown for its impressive foliage. This herbaceous perennial grows as a clump and produces fine, dark green, arching leaves that affords a cascading effect. It typically grows to 30 cm tall and the same wide, performing best when planted in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained, sheltered site. It tolerates cool climates, moderate frost, dry periods, and coastal environments. During winter it may die back in colder regions to regrow in spring when conditions warm, but otherwise it remains evergreen.
