This ornamental grass is grown for its attractive, variegated foliage. It features narrow and slender leaves that are cream with a dark green edge. They emerge from a central clump and gracefully arch downwards. It typically grows to 30 cm tall and the same wide but will eventually colonise a larger area as it spreads via creeping roots. It is easily grown in both well-drained and heavy soils in full sun or partial shade conditions. It will also grow well in boggy conditions, including very shallow water, and is tolerant of moderate frost. This grass is commonly planted around water features, included in borders, grown in a container, or planted anywhere a stunning grass is required. A mass planting is essential to properly showcase this variety.
