pH Test Strips
These pH test strips from MQuant are suited for testing any fluid such as from soil and growing media for a quick result. Simply dip the test strip into the fluid from the soil or media that you are wanting to control for 10-20 seconds. When the strip contacts an acidic or alkaline substance, it discolours. Red colouring indicates acidity, while blue indicates alkalinity. To test soil or growing media, The Plant Company recommends taking about 1 kg of moist soil or growing media and putting that in a plant pot. Then slowly add water such that only 50-100 ml of water drains from it. That is the fluid that is tested. Each pack contains 100 strips.
