Stromanthe sanguinea is a popular indoor plant owing to its lush and colourful foliage. It features dark green leaves sometimes with a which have a purple underside. It grows compactly to ultimately reach 50 cm tall and 40 cm wide. Best results with this plant are achieved when it is grown in indirect light with a well-drained growing media. It must be away from drafty and cold areas. This Stromanthe makes for a wonderful office and house plant.
