Spathiphyllum Silvana is a variety of the commonly known, Peace Lily, and is a popular indoor plant grown for its foliage and flowers. It produces lush and glossy, dark green leaves which have a gentle arch. The foliage is adorned with long lasting, white flowers which often emerge during spring and summer. It grows as a clump to about 30 cm tall and 40 cm wide, but can grow larger when planted outdoors or if carefully looked after. Best results with this plant are achieved when it is grown in partial shade in well-drained media. Avoid placing it in cold or hot areas, drafty spots, or high traffic areas, and be sure not to over-water it.
