Peperomia scandens, commonly known as the Cupid Peperomia, is a popular and easy to grow indoor plant. It produces green, heart shaped leaves that are held off trailing stems. It typically grows to 15 cm tall and 30 cm wide, performing best when grown in indirect light or partial shade in a sheltered position with a well-drained growing media. Over-watering will damage this plant as will frost, cold temperatures, and drafty positions. Peperomia scandens is commonly grown indoors in an office or the like where a fresh, delightful, and elegant plant is required. It is also well suited to being grown in a hanging basket.
