Tropicana is a colourful plant often grown as an indoor plant. It produces slender stems that host small and glossy, dark green leaves. The foliage is adorned with unusual, bright orange flowers with red stripes during spring and summer, and occasionally through the other season. It typically grows to 15 cm tall and 40 cm wide, performing best when grown in indirect light or partial shade in a sheltered position with a well-drained growing media. Over-watering will damage this plant as will frost, cold temperatures, and drafty positions. Tropicana is commonly grown indoors in an office or the like where a fresh, delightful, and elegant plant is required. It can also be grown outdoors in favourable environments.
