Snowdrops Cactus
Commonly known as the Snowdrop Cactus, this is a popular, yet unusual indoor plant owing to its interesting foliage and flowers. It produces trailing stems which are dark green and fleshy. The stems become adorned with soft looking, white flowers sporadically through the year. The combination of flowers and foliage is quite impressive. It typically grows to 15 cm tall and 60 cm wide, but can grow to longer lengths. It performs best when grown in partial shade on a well-drained, sheltered, frost free site. It is tolerant of dry periods which makes it ideal for growing indoors. It does not like cold or drafty positions, however. The Snowdrop Cactus makes for a wonderful pot plant that is great for offices or for placing on a shelf.
