“Splash” is a popular variety of Hoya and commonly grown as an indoor plant. It produces elongated leaves that are dark green and splashed with silver-cream. These are held on trailing stems. It typically grows to 20 cm tall and will trail to 50 cm or more. Best performance with this plant is achieved when positioned in indirect light or partial shade in a sheltered position with a well-drained growing media. Over-watering will damage this plant as will frost, cold temperatures, and drafty positions. “Splash” is commonly grown indoors in an office or the like where a fresh, delightful, and elegant plant is required. It can also be grown outdoors in favourable environments.
