How to grow Hoya longifolia shepherdii in NZ

Hoya longifolia shepherdii grows best in bright, indirect light and a warm, sheltered environment away from frost. It prefers a free-draining mix, such as an orchid or indoor plant blend with added perlite. Water when the top layer of soil feels dry, and reduce watering in winter. Maintain moderate to high humidity and feed monthly with a diluted liquid fertiliser during spring and summer. This plant enjoys being slightly root-bound and is ideal for hanging baskets or high shelves.
