Dracaena sanderiana, commonly known as Lucky Bamboo, is a stunning indoor plant grown for its lovely form and lush foliage. The fresh green leaves are borne off upright stems that can be moulded and twisted into various forms as it grows. The foliage sits neatly above the stems to create an amazing display. It typically grows to 70 cm tall and 40 cm wide but is often kept to smaller sizes when grown indoors. Lucky Bamboo grows best when positioned in indirect light and away from cold drafts. It can be grown outdoors in sub-tropical and tropical climates with soils that are well drained. Lucky Bamboo is commonly grown as a potted plant and is well suited to home and office environments, or anywhere an attractive feature plant is desired.
