Cyclamen Snowridge Scarlet
“Snowridge Scarlet” is a variety of Cyclamen grown for its pretty flowers and pleasant foliage. It produces flowers which are red with white tips through most of the year. The foliage comprises ivy shaped, mottled leaves which are grey-green with silver and white marbling. It typically grows to just 15 cm tall and 20 cm wide, performing best when grown in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained site. Wet sites should be avoided as this will cause the roots to rot. During cool or dry periods, it may go dormant but will regrow when conditions become favourable again. This Cyclamen is commonly grown indoors as a potted plant, or outdoors in warmer climates where it is often included in borders, planted around outdoor living areas such as pools and the like, or mass planted around trees and shrubs.
