Calathea Dottie Care Guide

Calathea Dottie thrives in bright, indirect light and high humidity, mimicking its native tropical environment. Keep the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged by watering when the top 2–3 cm feels dry. Use filtered or rainwater to avoid leaf damage from chemicals in tap water. Maintain humidity by misting the leaves regularly or using a humidifier, especially during drier months. Keep the plant in a warm space with temperatures between 18°C and 24°C, away from cold drafts or heating vents. Feed monthly during the growing season (spring and summer) with a diluted liquid fertiliser to encourage vibrant, healthy foliage.
