Anthurium Red is a very popular indoor plant due to its lovely foliage and flowers. It features glossy green leaves which serve as a stunning backdrop to the exotic, red flowers. The flowers are generally produced in summer but can be produced year-round when grown in favourable environments. The flowers themselves last for several weeks. It typically grows to 30 cm tall and 35 cm wide, performing best when positioned in indirect light or partial shade in well-drained growing media. It does not like cold or drafty positions, over-watering, or high levels of shade. Anthurium Red makes for a fantastic pot plant and is well suited to offices and the like where it will bring a fresh and tropical appeal to a space. It can be grown outdoors in frost free climates.
