Thymus ‘Pizza’ is a variety of Thyme grown for both its highly aromatic foliage and great form. The leaves on this evergreen are small, dark green, and held densely on short stems. Through summer it produces lovely purple flowers at the stem ends which are great for attracting butterflies and other fauna. This herbaceous perennial typically grows to 30 cm tall and 40 cm wide, performing best when planted on a well-drained site in full sun or partial shade. Thymus ‘Pizza’ is tolerant of short periods of dry and mild frost. This variety of Thyme is a fantastic plant for the herb garden, adding to a mixed or border planting, including in a cottage garden, or for maintaining in a container.
