“Steffi Blush” is an herbaceous perennial that produces masses of small, soft-pink flowers above lush foliage. The four-petaled flowers are borne on wiry stems from late spring through summer above the narrow, green leaves. The flowers appear like butterflies and give a great display in light breezes. It grows as a mound to about 40 cm tall and 50 cm wide, performing best when planted on a well-drained site in full sun. “Steffi Blush” is commonly included in borders, mixed plantings, cottage gardens, grown in a container, or mass planted. In colder regions it is often treated as an annual and replanted each year. This plant is highly valued for its long flowering and is often used as a cut flower.
