Canna Tropical Salmon features lush foliage coupled with impressive flowers. It carries large and glossy, dark green leaves which are held upright and have a gentle arch. Stems rise above the foliage through summer to bare large and showy, salmon pink flowers. The combination of flowers and foliage is very aesthetic. This herbaceous perennial typically grows to 70 cm tall and 50 cm wide, and in cold environments the plants may die back during winter to regrow again when temperatures warm in spring. Canna Lilies grow best when planted on a well-drained, sheltered site in full sun or partial shade, though it is tolerant of moderate frost and heavy soils. Canna Tropical Salmon is commonly included in tropical gardens, grown indoors as a potted plant, planted alongside a water feature or around outdoor living areas, or simply included in a mixed planting. Mass plantings are both stunning and very rewarding with this variety.
