Bergenia Pink Snow Cloud care guide

Bergenia 'Pink Snow Cloud' is an attractive evergreen perennial celebrated for its soft pink flowers that appear in clusters above the foliage in late winter to early spring. It forms a dense clump of broad, leathery green leaves, which can develop reddish-bronze tones in colder weather, providing year-round interest. This variety performs best in full sun to partial shade and thrives in moist, well-drained soil, though it is tolerant of a range of conditions including dry or clay soils once established. Minimal care is needed—just remove old leaves and spent flower stalks to keep it tidy. Bergenia 'Pink Snow Cloud' is excellent for borders, ground cover, edging, or woodland gardens, and works well in mass plantings for seasonal colour. It is also resistant to deer and rabbits and offers an early food source for pollinators, making it a reliable and attractive addition to New Zealand gardens.
