“Silver Moon” is a compact, evergreen, clump-forming plant with beautiful deep blue flowers through summer.  This herbaceous perennial forms a tidy clump of green, strap like foliage with a cream edge as it grows to about 70 cm high and 50 cm wide. It grows best when planted in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained site. It is tolerant of cold conditions as well as frost. This is a versatile plant that can be used as a low maintenance option on dry sites or in situations with poor soil conditions such as hot, sunny banks. It is also ideal as an edging plant along driveways, as a groundcover, or in mixed plantings with other perennials. It is also perfect for growing in a container. The most stunning displays are when it is planted en masse.
