Correa Dusky Bells Details

Correa Dusky Bells is a spreading groundcover that becomes coated in flowers from autumn through spring. The red flowers are tubular and great for attracting birds. Velvety, green leaves with a hint of grey release a citrus scent when crushed and are held densely. It grows compactly to about 60 cm tall and 2 m wide, and performs best when positioned in full-sun or partial shade on a well-drained site. It will tolerate dry periods, moderate frost, and coastal environments, but is intolerant of heavy, wet soils. Correa Dusky Bells is commonly used as a groundcover, included in borders, planted around outdoor living areas, or maintained in a container. It is well suited to mass planting on a bank or the like.
