Sand Coprosma, Tātaraheke
Coprosma Hawera, also known as Sand Coprosma or Tātaraheke, is a hardy New Zealand native groundcover shrub featuring fine, green foliage on orange stems. Growing up to 40 cm tall and spreading to 1.5 metres wide, it thrives in full sun and well-drained soils, tolerating coastal conditions, wind, and drought. This low-maintenance plant is ideal for covering banks, rock gardens, and areas requiring erosion control, adding year-round interest to native landscapes.
