Bacopa Blizzard is a ground covering plant grown for its foliage, flowers, and cascading nature. This herbaceous perennial carries lush, mid-green leaves on trailing stems. The foliage serves as a lovely backdrop to the small, white flowers produced amidst the foliage through spring and summer. It typically grows to 15 cm tall and 50 cm wide, performing best when planted on a well-drained site in full sun or partial shade. It is tolerant of mild frost and requires good moisture during dry periods. Bacopa Blizzard is commonly used as groundcover, grown in a container, or hanging basket, planted along the edge of a path, or allowed to trail down a wall or the like. A mass planting gives an impressive display, and it is ideal for “white” gardens, or for planting around outdoor living areas.
