New Zealand Spinach

Tetragonia implexicoma, known as NZ Spinach, is a low-growing, scrambling plant with small thick dark green leaves on slender, interlaced stems. It forms a mound about 50 cm tall and 2 m wide. In spring, yellow strongly scented flowers bloom, followed by orange-red berries. It is useful as ground cover for exposed coastal sites or where a large informal ground cover is needed.
