Scaevola Sunfan Details

Scaevola Sunfan is a sprawling shrub grown for both its foliage and flowers. It bears masses of mauve blue, fan shaped flowers on trailing stems through spring and summer. The flowers are complemented by small and round, olive green leaves which serve as a lovely backdrop to the flowers. It typically grows to 30 cm tall and 1 m wide, performing best when planted in full sun on a well-drained site. It is tolerant of moderate frost once established along with short periods of dry. Scaevola Sunfan is commonly used as a groundcover, included in a border planting, added to a cottage garden, planted around outdoor living areas such as pool and barbecue areas, or simply maintained in a container and allowed to trail over the sides. It is well suited to planting alongside steps to spill across or to trail over a retaining wall.
