Nertera depressa, commonly known as the Bead Plant, is a NZ native plant that forms a mat of very small leaves and features colourful berries. Tiny flowers in spring are followed by bright orange-red berries in autumn which have an appearance akin to beads. It typically grows to 10 cm tall and 1 m wide. Nertera depressa is commonly used as a ground cover but will also perform well when grown in a container.

Nertera depressa, commonly known as the Bead Plant, is a NZ native plant that forms a mat of very small leaves and features colourful berries. Tiny flowers in spring are followed by bright orange-red berries in autumn which have an appearance akin to beads.
