Lithodora diffusa Grace Ward is a low growing, herbaceous perennial that features impressive flowering. This popular plant grows as a mat of small, dark green leaves with a soft looking appearance. It bears masses of small and trumpet shaped, blue flowers from spring through autumn. It typically grows to 30 cm tall and 1 m wide, growing best when planted in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained site. It is tolerant of light frost once established but intolerant of heavy or soils that are continuously wet.
