It typically grows to 1 m tall and 2.5 m wide as a somewhat dense mat. Best growth is achieved when it is planted in a full sun or partial shade position on a well-drained site. It is tolerant of dry conditions, frost, cold environments, and coastal climates but it will not tolerate wet soils. This denseness of Juniperus Gold Coast makes it an effective groundcover that will suppress most weeds.
