Hypericum gracilis is a shrub which is commonly grown as an attractive groundcover. It carries mid green leaves which become adorned with yellow flowers during spring and summer. It typically grows to 40 cm tall and 60 cm wide, growing best in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained site. It is tolerant of dry soil conditions as well as coastal climates, though young plants should be protected from frost and strong winds.
