Grevillea Raptor Details

Grevillea Raptor, commonly known as Spider Flower, is a low growing, dense shrub featuring pendulous clusters of dark red flowers with a black background. These are borne at the ends of branches that also host fine, mid-green foliage. The flowers are produced from winter through spring and are great for attracting birds. It typically grows to 30 cm tall and 1 m wide, performing best when planted in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained site. It is tolerant of dry periods, coastal conditions, and moderate frost. Grevillea Raptor is commonly included in borders, mass planted either as a groundcover or on a bank, planted around outdoor living areas, or grown to attract birds. It is also great for providing winter colour and looks stunning when allowed to cascade over rocks, slopes, or walls.
