Grevillea Molonglo Details

Grevillea juniperus Molonglo is a ground covering variety of Grevillea that features impressive clusters of soft-orange flowers. These are borne at the ends of branches that also host fine, dark green foliage. The flowers are produced from winter through spring and are great for attracting birds. It typically grows to 50 cm tall and 2.5 m wide, performing best when planted in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained site. It is tolerant of dry periods, coastal conditions, and moderate frost. Grevillea Molonglo is commonly included in a mixed planting, mass planted either as a groundcover or on a bank, planted around outdoor living areas, or grown to attract birds. It is also great for providing winter colour and looks stunning when allowed to cascade over rocks, slopes, or walls.
