Correa Mallee Bells is a vigorous and fast-growing ground cover plant. It has a dense and layered habit growing to about 30 cm tall and 1 m wide. The foliage is made up of branchlets carrying small, dark green leaves. Attractive, crimson and cream-coloured flowers are borne from autumn through spring. Best growth is achieved when planted in partial shade or full sun on a well-drained site. It is tolerant of frost, dry periods, and coastal conditions. Correa Mallee Bells is commonly mass planted on a bank, used in in a rockery, as a ground cover, planted around a water feature, or grown in a container.
