Correa Autumn Blaze is a hardy ground covering shrub that is grown for its foliage and flowers. The foliage is made up of branchlets which carry small, olive-green leaves held densely. This becomes adorned with masses of showy, red flowers during summer and autumn. It typically grows to 30 cm tall and 1.5 m wide, and performs best when positioned in full-sun or partial shade on a well-drained site. It tolerates dry periods, moderate frost, and coastal environments, but is intolerant of heavy, wet soils. Correa Autumn Blaze is commonly included in borders and mixed plantings, planted around outdoor living areas, or maintained in a container. It is well suited to mass planting on a bank, including in coastal gardens, or planting where other plants may struggle.
