Cerastium tomentosum Yo Yo is a fabulous plant featuring impressive flowering and lovely foliage. The plants are lavished with small and white, daisy-like flowers during spring and summer. These are offset by small, silver-grey leaves which together with the flowers make this a stunning plant. It grows quickly with a mat like habit to 20 cm tall and 75 cm wide, performing best in full sun on a well-drained site. It is tolerant of dry periods, frost, and sheltered coastal areas. Cerastium Yo Yo is commonly used as a groundcover, planted around the base of trees, or planted anywhere it can spread and be appreciated. It looks great when allowed to spill over a retaining wall or when planted between paving stones and rocks.
