Bidens ferulifolia is an herbaceous perennial that produces masses of bright yellow, star-shaped flowers through summer and autumn. The foliage is fern-like in appearance and is grows with a spreading habit to about 20 cm tall and 1 m wide. Best performance is achieved when it is grown in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained site. It will tolerate a moderate frost once established and is generally cut back every year to promote new growth.
