Azorella trifurcata is a ground hugging herbaceous perennial. It forms a tight mat of glossy green leaves. In summer, clusters of yellow flowers literally coat the plant as it grows to 10 cm tall and 50 cm wide. Azorella trifurcata is commonly included in rock gardens, planted between flag stones, allowed to grow over a wall, or planted along the edge of a path. It also makes for a great ground cover plant.
