Arenaria Aurea is a variety of the commonly known, Sandwort or Moss Sandwort, forms a cushion of yellow-green leaves that will quickly fill in the spaces between stepping stones. The foliage is adorned with masses of tiny, white flowers from late spring until early autumn as it grows to about 10 cm tall and 50 cm wide. Arenaria caespitosa Aurea is a perfect plant for bordering paths, planting between flagstones, including in rock or cottage gardens, or planting around outdoor living areas such as pools and the like.

Arenaria Aurea is a variety of the commonly known, Sandwort or Moss Sandwort, and is a colourful and low growing plant which is often used as a groundcover. It forms a cushion of yellow-green leaves that will quickly fill in the spaces between stepping stones. The foliage is adorned with masses of tiny, white flowers from late spring until early autumn. It typically grows to about 5 cm tall and 50 cm wide, and grows best when planted in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained site. It is tolerant of moderate frost and short periods of dry once established. Arenaria caespitosa Aurea is a perfect plant for bordering paths, planting between flagstones, including in rock or cottage gardens, or planting around outdoor living areas such as pools and the like.
